| All users of the Vibrational Spectroscopy Facility (both internal and external) are required to adhere to the OH&S regulations of the School of Chemistry (SoC). Prior to using any of the instrumentation within the Vibrational Spectroscopy Facility users must first identify the hazards of all materials involved and assess the risks associated with their experimental procedures, as per the SoC Handbook of Safety Regulations. The experimental work must be labelled with a HIRAC Assessment card as illustrated below. The definitions of the various classes are also found within the SoC Handbook of Safety Regulations. |
